Eligibility:
- For Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operators (DEOs): Must have passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam from any recognized board in India.
Pay Scale:
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA):
- Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
Data Entry Operator (DEO):
- Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) for some positions.
- Pay Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) for some positions.
Data Entry Operator, Grade „A‟:
- Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
How to apply:
One-Time Registration (OTR):
- If you haven’t already done so, visit the new SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
- Generate your One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website. Note that the OTR generated on the old website will not be functional.
- Detailed instructions for OTR are provided in Annexure-III to the Notice.
Fill the Application Form:
- Once you have generated your OTR on the new website, proceed to fill the application for the examination.
- Applications must be submitted in online mode only through the SSC Headquarters website: https://ssc.gov.in.
- Detailed instructions for filling the application form are provided in Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of the Notice.
- Sample proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Form are attached as Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA respectively.
Capture Photograph:
- The application module is designed to capture a photograph of the candidate filling up the application form.
- Ensure that the photograph captured is clear, without a cap or spectacles, and with a full frontal view.
- Follow the provided specimens of acceptable/not acceptable photographs (given in Annexure-V).
- Find a place with good light and plain background, position yourself directly in front of the camera, and look straight ahead.
- Candidates shouldn’t wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo.
Upload Signature:
- Upload a scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB). The image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
- Applications with blurred photographs or signatures will be rejected summarily.
Submission Deadline:
- The last date and time for submission of online applications is 07-05-2024 (23:00).
- Candidates are advised to submit their online applications well before the closing date to avoid any disconnection or failure to log in due to heavy load on the website.
Preview and Verification:
- Before submission of the online application, candidates must check through the Preview/Print option that they have filled in correct details in each field of the application form.
Submission:
- After verifying all details, submit the online application form.
